Ropetec – this is us

Ropetec is a specialist company for the handling of ropes and the manufacture of rope solutions. Our decades of experience in the splicing industry makes us the leading specialist in the field. Individual productions for individual solutions are our specialty, but also the mass production of ready made products is the daily business of the Ropetec OHG.

No order is too small for us, no challenge too big. Life with the customer is important to us. We therefore take every request seriously and strive to exploit our advantage independent of manufacturer and constructions processing for you.

Yacht equipment

Our roots are traditionally found in the seafaring industry. The equipment of sailing ships therefore determines the daily business. The production of prefabricated halyards & sheets or mooring lines, rope shackles, anchor chains, fender lines and much more in high quantities up to custom-made nets, fenders and leather coverings and the production of Dyneema® shrouds & stands are nothing extraordinary for us.

Industry

The demands of rope solutions for the shipping and industry have changed significantly in the last years. A big part of this is due to the high-tech fiber Dyneema®, which can carry much higher loads at a fraction of the weight and also has considerably less stretch than wire ropes. Products made of this material are very robust and at the same time easy to handle. Among other things, we manufacture heavy-duty rope shackles, lifting slings and lashing ropes.

Special solutions

In addition to our core competencies, the implementation of our customers’ ideas is always very special to us. Because, despite years of experience in the processing of rope, we are often still surprised, what can be done with rope.

Exactly these experience in the yacht and boat industry, which naturally brings a very high quality standard, allows us to find high-quality solutions in other areas such as home & garden, outdoor, artistic and design. This includes, among other things, the production of bed nets, handrails, climbing ropes, swings and rope design elements.

Accessoires

n the course of our craft activities with ropes, in 2016 we developed the production of bracelets made of yacht ropes. Of course, the high-quality accessories are also made in pure handcraft and with great attention to detail. Under the brand name Deichjung we sell the bracelets in various designs in our own webshop.
